Transport guests using property vehicle on designated route to/from the Newark Airport and assist guests with luggage and questions. Document all trips prior to the start of and at the conclusion of each trip. Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness. Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property vehicle, and refuel as necessary. Document all vehicle incidents (i.e., damages, accidents). Welcome and assist all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language; exchange information with other employees using electronic devices (e.g., Nextel, pagers and two-way radios, email). Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Position requires great hospitality and customer service skills; knowledge of the Newark area; and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge. Previous driving experience preferred. Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and clean driving record required. Log all guest requests or issues into computer, contact appropriate individual or department, and follow up with guest to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction. Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest. Assist guests with accessing the internet. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team goals. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Customer service/call center or related experience required; previous hotel experience preferred. Must be adept on a computer and have data entry and typing skills. Training is provided. Front Desk Clerk (Guest Services/Front Desk) - Full-Time

Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash guests` personal checks and traveler`s checks. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Customer service experience required; hotel experience preferred.
